I purchased the Summer Liner for my Winter Watts helmet. It's not only useful for the summer though. I use it anytime the weather is a little warmer.
Liner is great.... But when converting from Winter to Summer Watts, I feel like I'm missing something; like an additional liner which Velcros over the hard foam & MIPS system as it's extremely uncomfortable against my skull alone. Helmet is 5 stars though and I'm sure I'll figure this out, as I cannot be the only one....I have a few months until Summer rolls around.
I have the Macon snow helmet, which may be one of the most comfortable snow helmets I've ever tried. However, the summer liner only goes around the head, not "over", leaving exposed velcro to scratch your head, and hard foam to create unpleasant pressure points. From best snow helmet to worst bike helmet.
First, the sizing - I selected L online and received packaging that said XL/XXL but the actual product did indeed fit my L Bern Watts helmet. It has the adjustment on the back and fits perfectly. Sizing maze aside, it fits and adjusts well. Could have more padding, but a small price to pay for a duel season helmet.
I recently ordered what's listed as a "L" on the website, however, when it arrived it was actually an XL/XXL. When you add a "M" to your cart, you'll notice that item code includes "L/XL" which was the size I was originally trying to order. In other words, be careful! The sizing on the product tags does not match the sizing on the website. "L" = XL/XXL and "M" = L/XL on your product
