DescriptionThe Bandito helmet is designed for pre-teen boys with noggins too big for a kids helmet, yet not quite big enough for and adult model. Taking cues from the Watts, the Bandito uses Bern’s original visor shape and styling. Utilizing the EPS Thinshell technology, the Bandito offers a lightweight yet burly construction that is certified to protect you on a bike or on the slopes. The winter model comes with a winter liner keeping their head and ears warm in the colder months, but can easily be transitioned to a bike helmet for summer activities.
MIPS Brain Protection System
Rotational motion can cause brain injuries. The low friction layer allows a sliding movement of 10-15 mm in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact.

It's a slick looking helmet, but runs big. The crank-fit system buttons into the helmet and doesn't fit as tightly because of it. I was hoping to return it, but Bern has a very strict policy, but won't accept the return due to a 2 foot drop that left a very small knick in it.
I got this for my son. Loves the design (shark) and looks good on him. The safety factor is a plus. Highly recommend!
Bought for my son after measuring his head for appropriate size and the helmet is to big...runs large. We will keep for use later when he grows into it.
No helmet means no bike, no skate in our house. My son loved his 1st Bern so we ran it back, & got him another one. He loves it!
Summer Bandito MIPS is a wonderful helmet! Looks stylish runs a bit on the smaller side.
